As the global automotive industry accelerates its transformation towards smart, electrified and connected, the highly anticipated Shanghai China International Intelligent Vehicle Technology Exhibition 2025 is set to be grandly unveiled. Serving as a key platform to showcase advanced technologies and foster industrial cooperation in the smart vehicle sector, the exhibition is poised to inject new life into the global smart transportation market.
The 2025 China Shanghai International Intelligent Vehicle Technology Exhibition will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong) from August 13 to 15, 2025. With excellent transportation connections and world-class exhibition facilities, this prime location provides an ideal environment for smooth interaction and exchange among participants and visitors.
One of the outstanding features of this exhibition is its impressive scale. Covering a vast exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, it provides ample space for exhibitors to showcase their latest products, technologies and solutions. In total, more than 1,200 professional brands will gather at the exhibition. The number of professional visitors is expected to exceed 80,000.
Exhibition history

Shanghai has always been at the forefront of smart car technology exhibitions and has hosted numerous influential exhibitions that have collectively charted the development path of the Shanghai International Smart Car Technology Exhibition.
Since 2016, the “iCar 2016” (China International Connected Intelligent Vehicle Industry Exhibition 2016) has been held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Initiated by AC Automotive Network and co-organized by several professional institutions, the exhibition was the first exhibition in China focusing on the connected intelligent vehicle sector.
In 2018, the third China (International) New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology Exhibition was successfully held. In 2020, under the influence of factors such as the pandemic, some exhibitions were suspended or adjusted, but the development of the industry did not stop.
Until 2022, ICVS China Intelligent Vehicle and Autonomous Driving Exhibition was held in Shanghai Hongqiao National Convention and Exhibition Center. With an exhibition scale of 100,000 square meters, it established three thematic exhibition areas: intelligent vehicles, autonomous driving, and future transportation. It brought together elite brands in the industry, committed to creating a benchmark technology festival and exhibition of innovative transportation solutions, and promoting the development of the global intelligent vehicle industry.
After years of accumulation and development, the current Shanghai China 2025 International Intelligent Vehicle Technology Exhibition has emerged as the need of the times. It has inherited the fine traditions of previous exhibitions and has made further progress in terms of exhibition scale, number of participating brands, and audience professionalism. From the initial focus on a single field, it has gradually expanded to cover the entire intelligent vehicle industrial chain; from a simple product display, it has become a comprehensive platform for technical exchange, industry cooperation, and discussion of future trends. It has witnessed the rapid development and transformation of intelligent vehicle technology in Shanghai and even the world, and continues to lead the intelligent vehicle industry in a smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable direction.
