On the sidelines of the Kish Petrochemical and Related Industries Exhibition (Iran Petrocom), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran Trade Center in Shanghai and the Petrochemical Industries Development Management Company (PIDMCO) with the aim of developing commercial, industrial and technological cooperation in the field of petrochemical and related industries. This MoU is designed to facilitate international communications, identify market opportunities in China, attract investment and support the effective presence of Iranian companies in projects related to the petrochemical industry.
On the sidelines of the signing of this memorandum, Engineer Ali Vosoughi, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Trade Center in Shanghai, stated: “This memorandum is an effective step towards enhancing the specialized capacities of Iran and China and creating a practical platform for developing sustainable cooperation in the fields of petrochemical industries and technical and engineering services.”
According to the provisions of this memorandum, the parties will cooperate, relying on their specialized capacities and capabilities, in the field of exchanging market information, creating platforms for joint cooperation, developing interactions with Chinese companies and institutions, supporting technical and engineering projects, and improving the level of exports of Iranian petrochemical services and products. This memorandum provides a framework for future synergy, coordination, and joint actions between the parties.
